Why One Hope?
Exemplifying our motto, Patriae Multae Spes Una—One Hope of Many People—the One Hope Fund is our first impact program to serve SDT sisters during every phase of their lives. Women in unexpected, short-term hardship can apply for support. In 2021, the One Hope Fund became available for the first time, helping collegiate and alumnae sisters experiencing short-term hardship. Natural disaster, illness, and pandemic impact have been factors for recent grant assistance. In 2023 disaster relief quick grants were added to the One Hope Program to support sisters in federally declared natural disaster areas within 72 hours of application.
